Learn how some of the most successful business models in the sustainable fashion sector are building partnerships and engaging with patrons, which open doors and transform opportunities. The insider view on three successful businesses, whose partnerships include design collaboration, celebrity endorsement and patronage by industry heavy weights, and how they have built long-term win-win relationships.

1. MONKEE GENES AND MILES GREY

Monkee Genes are the world’s first and only Soil Association accredited jeans brand. Find out how they accelerated the success of their business through connections, bringing in an advisor with clout in the commercial fashion industry, who was able to open doors for the brand.

2. MADE AND LAURA BAILEY

One of the most successful ethical fashion brands, fair trade brand Made Jewellery secures success by design collaborations with influential designers, including supermodels, cutting edge new talents, and mainstream retailers, creating widespread attractive product lines, press attention and creating long-term ambassadors for the brand.

3. EJF AND CELEBRITY AMBASSADORS

Environmental Justice Foundation utilizes design collaboration, ambassadors with respect and press appeal to publicise and raise funds for its cotton campaign to the mainstream, allowing the charity to do important work to raise awareness and galvanize action for ethical cotton.
