The inaugural SOURCE Summit, taking place on the 25th July 2012, will bring together leading pioneers in fashion and sustainability from all over the world and across the entire supply chain to network, share ideas, learn from best practice, and collaborate. The event is built on 4 key themes and will focus on taking sustainability in the fashion industry to tipping point- the point at which best practice becomes the rule rather than the exception to it. VISIBILITY: Increasing visibility and mainstreaming sustainability in the fashion sector

Sharing latest developments and best practice related to the promotion, marketing, and mainstreaming of fashion and sustainability. How can consumer awareness be raised and what needs to happen to make sustainable product available- and desirable- to all? Hear from sector leaders and media experts about how they are creating visibility and gaining media profile for their businesses. Join a working group with your peers on how the profile and visibility of sustainability in the sector can be raised, availability increased, and sustainability integrated into the mainstream.

EDUCATION: Integrating sustainability at the core of fashion education: inspiring a new generation of leaders

Integrating sustainability at the heart of Fashion education and inspiring a generation of fashion professionals has the potential to transform fashion business practices in the future. Connect with leaders in the academic sector and members of the EFF’s College Fellowship. Share best practice and debate the opportunities to mainstream sustainability within fashion education.

SYSTEMS: Sharing latest tools and techniques to build success in fashion and sustainability

Experts from the Fellowship 500 share latest developments to support sustainable sourcing and business practices, from auditing and certification, to production and fabric sourcing. The SOURCE team will update you on the latest and most important resources on the SOURCE platform, how to make the network and the Database work for you.
