Ethical Fashion Show Berlin
Trade fair and permanent home for all sustainable fashion labels during Berlin fashion week. The event includes an exhibition, a ‘Knowledge Lounge’ for green fashions, panel discussions and various other activities.

Taking place in paris, the Ethical Fashion Show is the foremost international event for ethical and solidarity fashion dedicated to sustainable development. Since its creation in 2004, Ethical Fashion Show strives to publicize the ethical fashion which includes economic, human and environmental aspects.

2013 African Textile, Apparel & Footwear Trade Show
Two full days of trade exhibition with African manufactured products on display including denim, work wear, childrenswear, menswear, womenswear, trims and accessories. A feature of the trade show will be the Country Collection pavilions featuring product from Lesotho, Kenya, Mauritius, Tanzania, Swaziland, South Africa, and others. Bringing together producers, business leaders and decision makers from across the continent developing sourcing channels in Africa and providing opportunities for African manufacturers to network with international buyers.

2013 Green Festival in NYC
New York Green Festival is renowned for its rich and inspiring keynote presentations, workshops, demonstrations, artistic installations and interactive fun. New in 2013, New York Green Festival launches B2B Green Trade Day, an afternoon dedicated to bringing together New York Green Festival exhibitors to sell and take orders from regional retail store buyers.

2013 Vancouver Eco-Fashion Week
Eco Fashion Week (EFW) is a non-profit organization dedicated to stimulating the growth and development of sustainable practices in the fashion/clothing industry. This is a great event including speaker seminars, industry panels, and a dynamic, collaborative, and award winning fashion show. More than 2,000 global VIP guests, buyers, designers, stylists, photographers, and media are attending Eco Fashion Week.

2013 Fair Trade Federation Conference?
Each year the conference is a spirited gathering of fair trade business owners, students, and advocates coming together to share ideas, make connections, and be inspired. Registration fees are $100 for students, $150 for FTF and WFTO members, $250 for partners, $350 for others. The fee includes Attendance at all conference sessions, most meals and discounted rates at the Doubletree Raleigh Brownstown-University Hotel. This year conference features a Fair Trade Expo.

WFTO 2013 Biennial Conference
The event will be held in Rio de Janeiro. There is a proposal on the table to invite other international Fair Trade network organization to hold their own event, i.e. a board meeting, seminar or other kind of assembly in the same period in which the WFTO conference will take place, and declare Rio de Janeiro as the “Global Fair Trade Capital” for one week.

Sustainability in the fashion industry is gaining momentum. At this years London Fashion Week exhibition, almost a third of showcasing brands had a sustainability focus. SOURCE Summit 2013 will unite leaders from the largest global retailers to the most pioneering brands and suppliers, from all over the world and every part of the fashion industry supply chain; to build upon and accelerate this momentum. In the wake of the 24.04.13 Bangladesh Garment Factory disaster, this event will also address the collaborative and constructive steps that can be taken across the supply chain, to prevent this happening again.

Speakers include supermodel and actress Amber Valletta, Dolly Jones, Editor of Vogue.com, Heads of Sourcing and Production from Roland Mouret to Vivienne Westwood, to Asda, and more than 20 other inspirational business leaders and pioneers from across the world.

2013 Conference on Textile Sustainability
Organized by Textile Exchange the event will take place in Turkey, as announced at the 2012 edition of the conference. Considering recent events in Syria and violence infiltrating Turkey’s borders, Textile Exchange will be monitoring the situation in Turkey and staying updated through global and US travel advisories, keeping everyone informed of any changes of plans.
